CHURCH FAMILIES

Christ Community Church
Christ Community Church exists to make a visible difference in the quality of life of Gainesville. We are here neither to encourage people to transfer from other churches nor to merely meet the needs of our own people. We want to see Gainesville become more and more a place where Jesus Christ is known, cherished, and served. Our name comes from two beliefs: That God has created people to share life together in community, and that people cannot reach their fullest potential unless they enjoy a relationship with God and know Him personally.

Creekside Community Church
Creekside Community Church is a diverse and vibrant community anchored in the worship of God and the study and teaching of His life-transforming Word. In grateful and loving obedience to Christ and through reliance upon the Spirit we prayerfully and sacrificially minister Gods grace and truth to one another, our communities and the world.

Grace Methodist
Welcome to Grace! We are honored that you plan to worship with us. Our prayer is that you will truly experience the power and presence of God among us. To help you receive the most of your worship experience may we recommend the following: After Worship we hope you'll join us at the Gazebo on the east side of the worship chapel and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of juice as you meet and mingle with the Grace family. Serving in the Gazebo you'll find members of the 'Gazebo Gang' who are eager to provide you with helpful information on the variety of ministry opportunities we offer here at Grace. You may pick up a copy of our church video 'These Are the Days of Grace' which gives a look into the spirit of our church.

The Family Church
We believe the Bible is God's Holy Word and the basis for all our beliefs. It was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the final authority in all matters relating to faith and life and the standard for our doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

First Assembly of God
We exist to glorify God, which we do by enjoying Him forever. In a culture of human worship, moral relativism, and religious confusion, we center our message and devotion on the lordship, kingship, and friendship of Jesus Christ. We long to know Him deeply. We believe that the Bible is utterly trustworthy. We teach, preach, and base all decisions on the Word of God. While we appreciate a contemporary approach to reality in many ways, we nonetheless affirm our deepest conviction that God has chosen to reveal Himself. We deeply encourage personal searching, discovery, and interaction with God through Scripture. We place particular value on application, not just mental assent.

Westside Baptist Church
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

River Cross Church
We are a non-traditional, Southern Baptist church. We are non-traditional because we know a lot of people who saw the traditions of the church and mistakenly thought they saw God. They also knew "church people" and decided their friends were a lot more fun. We have discovered those things just aren't true, and we want to help you shift your paradigm, like we have. We simply believe it is important for everyone to develop a clear picture of who they are and why they are here! We are Southern Baptist because we believe in the biblical correctness of the statement of faith (hyper link), the powerful organization of missions, and the autonomy of the local church.

University City Church of Christ
The mission of the University City Church of Christ is to glorify God through Jesus Christ by preaching the gospel, loving and serving others, worshiping in spirit and in truth, and living holy lives.

Campus Church of Christ

Covenant Presbyterian Church
Covenant Presbyterian Church gathers for Worship each Sunday morning at 10:00 a. m. with a Time of Fellowship following. We intentionally blend our worship service with both contemporary and traditional music and other elements. We are a church with a purpose that seeks to “Love God By Serving Others.”

Wesley United Methodist Church
Our Mission Statement - "To be ambassadors of Christ to our community and shepherds of the faith to our congregation."

Calvary Chapel
Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

Abundant Grace Community Church
Abundant Grace is foremost about God's grace - His undeserved favor and mercy towards us in salvation and sanctification - which is made possible by what Jesus Christ accomplished on the Cross. God's grace truly amazes us! Abundant Grace is also about people. People, like you, who are experiencing the forgiveness of their sins, the empowering of the Holy Spirit, and the joy of discovering real and meaningful relationships in a local church. This church is not about human goodness or achievement. It is about sinners reconciled to God and joined to one another in an ever-growing community of believers. If you are looking for a church home or would like to visit, we would be delighted to share with you what God is doing among us as individuals and as a church.
